Annual Trip 2010: Rich River

November 16th, 2009

We have booked for 8 at the Rich River Golf Resort, Echuca-Moama, for the 13th-14th November 2010.

NOTE: Accommodation is limited to 8 people, and is on a first-come, first-served basis! Pay your deposit now to avoid disappointment! If there are enough interested by mid-December, we may be able to increase the booking to 12.

Accommodation is available on the Sunday night for those that wish to enjoy the surrounds for an extra night/morning: $125 per room (twin share) or $100 for a single, includes continental breakfast, you can upgrade at the club to a cooked breakfast and pay the difference. Please confirm your intentions with Redmond when you pay your deposit or organise with the Motel directly.

  • Cooked Breakfast each morning at the club.
  • 2 x $15 Meal Vouchers for the club (can be used for Dinner or Lunch).

As Rich River was fully booked for our preferred weekends in November, we have booked for 20 at the Murray Downs Golf Resort for the 14th-16th November 2008. Accommodation is available on the Sunday for those that wish to enjoy the surrounds for an extra night/morning: $150 per room (twin share), does not include cooked breakfast, or $105 per person (twin share) to extend the golf package to 3 days, including breakfast and unlimited golf. Please confirm your intentions with Redmond when you pay your deposit.

We have booked for 16 at the Cobram-Barooga Golf Club for the 16th-18th November. We are booked in Friday night thru to Sunday morning. Annual Trip 2006: Tocumwal

February 15th, 2006

We have booked 20 at the Tocumwal Golf Club for the 17th to 19th of November. For directions: map of Tocumwal and surrounds and map of Tocumwal township. We are booked in Friday night through to Sunday morning, with accomodation available on Sunday ($40) for those who wish to partake in the surrounds for an extra day/night. Please tell Dave if you want to stay the extra night when you pay your deposit.

Accomodation

  • 10 twin share rooms have been booked
  • Buffet breakfast each morning, 7am Sat, 7:30am Sun.
  • Golf package card with $20 credit for meals or beverages in the bistro. On presentation of the card to bar staff, there is a 10% discount off all beverages over the weekend.

Golf

  • Friday golf $10 (normally $27.50). Make your own booking with the pro shop – 03 5874 9172
  • Unlimited golf Sat and Sun (again, make your own booking for additional rounds)
  • Tee-off times for the Masters: 8:07am Saturday; 8:22am Sunday.
  • 10 buggies have been booked @ $35 per buggy per day (let Dave know if you require one when making your deposit).

Events

  • Friday Night: Nibbles, Draw for Saturday groups, handicaps announced, trophies on display.
  • Sunday BBQ lunch presentation after golf, approx 2pm.
  • BYO grog and soft drinks

Blue Room Masters 2005 – Murray Downs

November 21st, 2005

After a six-year detour to other Murray River courses, the BRGC Masters has returned to Murray Downs. First-time winner Krusty left the rest of the field five strokes behind as he stepped forward to take the title. It was year of firsts, as runner-up BarbaLou also took home his first trophy after a five-year drought. It wasn’t easy for BarbaLou, as he had to beat the fast-finishing Goose in a sudden-death playoff.
